Many small businesses and start-ups may not have financial expertise in-house and so their challenge is making sure that this life-blood is healthy without losing focus on the core of the business.

Most businesses will have a retained accountancy firm for their year-end accounts and tax; this is typically focussed on compliance and has little to do with running your business. I leave this aspect compliance to practising firms of accountants, which is their expertise, and my aim is to be a resource to help your business week by week, month by month as it progresses through the financial year. I can help on a regular basis or on a discrete project basis.
